Unwin Road Sports Ground ,Sutton in Ashfield, saw the back drop of the newly reformed Co-op ’81 Football Club in 1981 ,Unwin Road being the Club’s Home Ground .
With the management structure of J.Hobson ,manager,( 3rd in front row track suit) L to R and G.Burton /Club Secretary /player (3rd in front row in track suit R to L) .
The Club established a good rapour with opposing teams and officials who felt privileged to be playing on such a well looked after ground .
The Ground over many years was used for many local Cup Finals .
From the photograph one would ask “were are the players now”?.
Sadly I’m told the Ground now has an housing property within the area !!!!!
