These photographs were taken in November 1991.
The property ‘Hill Crest’ is still there today situated up Stinting Lane, off of Old Mill Lane. Signs at the entrance to the lane reveal some of the products that can be purchased there, ie., logs, plants, eggs etc.
Today horses can still be seen grazing in the fields to the left. However the view to right of the lane is now very different, in 2019 tall hedges and trees no longer give open views as they do in my photograph.
The fields no longer grow produce – they are now covered in houses.
The occupants of ‘Hill Crest’ are known back to the 1950’s when the Booth family lived there, does anyone recall any earlier occupants or when the property was built?
