Mansfield Vics Cycling Club, Memories from a 1950s Member

Hi all you ex time-trialists & members of Mansfield Vics Cycling Club out there. I joined the club in 1951/52, we met above Jack Fletcher’s bike shop at Mansfield Woodhouse. This certificate is the only survivor from my racing days. However, I remember particularly the winter rides when the weather was bad, we made for Fred & Kath’s farmhouse in Derbyshire for a home cooked dinner and tea where we played cards all day!
