Henfrey and Barringer

These two photographs have been sent in by Mandy Moon, her grandfather George Percy Henfrey (1903-1974) and great grandfather Percy John Henfrey (1881-1975) are both believed to have worked for the Barringer family. The Barringer firm was a noted firm in Mansfield at one time and eventually became the Metal Box Company.

The first photograph shows house staff members with Percy John Henfrey on the left hand side, he was believed to have been both a chauffeur and gardener.

He is also on the left hand side of the second photo, the other people may be members of the Barringer family.
