Royal British Legion -100 Years

It is 100 years today, on the 15th May since the British Legion (now the Royal British Legion) was formed, this is being commemorated far and wide.

The laying of special wreaths by the Forest Town and Clipstone Branch took place first at Clipstone and then at Forest Town.

These photographs’ were taken in St Alban’s Churchyard, Forest Town, where a short service was led by Neil Davidson, Chairman of the Branch and a wreath was laid by the Branch President Mr Len Beech,

It was an honour to be present to take photographs and record this event.
