Art competition
In 1973 or 1974, Mansfield & District Council held an open art competition for drawings and paintings of Mansfield.
The three winning pictures were to be given to Mansfield’s twin town of Heiligenhaus in Germany.
The names of the three winning artists, remain a mystery – Does anyone recall this competition?
