West Gate c1940

Here is an image that I believe was taken around 1940 in West gate.
The picture was taken where the library entrance is now.
The stone building to the right is Waverley House.

Sitting in the centre front row with the light coloured blazer is my great grandad William (Bill) Baggaley and the younger man sitting next to him with a handkerchief in his top pocket is his son (my grandad) Stanley Baggaley.

The trip was possibly a day outing to Skegness from either the Nags Head or Old Eclipse pubs, as in the second image taken at Skegness William Baggaley is wearing the same suit and tie and walking with another gentleman from the west gate photo.

Does any one recognize perhaps their father or grandfather in the pictures ?
