A lovely sunny afternoon in Car Bank Park on the 12th May 2019 when Whitwell Brass Band played a good selection of music to people of all ages. Some sat on the park benches and others brought along folding chairs, it was a very enjoyable afternoon in lovely surroundings with lovely music.
Future summer brass band concerts will be on 14th July (Blidworth Band), 18 August (Matlock band), 15th September (Holymoorside 2pm -4pm – information noted from ‘mymansfield spring edition.’

My husband and I too were at this concert. I can’t think of a nicer way of passing a warm, sunny Sunday afternoon in very pleasant surroundings seeing the trees in their Spring glorious colours, listening to good music. And it’s free !!
