Many thanks for that information Ann, do you know if there is a photograph of him wearing his chains of office? The Mansfield Branch of the Regimental Association presented his Sword to Mansfield Council 2 years ago together with a pen portrait of him, unfortunately we were unable to obtain a photograph of him in uniform or as a Councillor.
