I am sure many people in this time of the Corona Virus isolation are pleased to see that postmen are still able to deliver our post.
This photo will possibly take some of you back in time. It was taken outside Forest Town’s Sorting Office which was a building at the back of the Post Office situated next to the Methodist Church. The sorting was done by hand, and would, we believe, have also been stamped there. The photograph taken in 1964 is of postmen Reg Moxon and Frank Grice.
