Royal Visit to Mansfield 1977

We pay tribute to her Majesty Queen Elizabeth on the day she becomes the longest serving British Monarch, the 9th September 2015 by recalling when she and the Duke of Edinburgh visited Mansfield in July 1977.

The photographs are from the Museums Chad Negative Collection, it has been a hard job selecting which pictures to put on this page as the Chad photographers were out in full force taking hundreds of photos of that very special occasion. We hope they bring back memories for you all.
