Saw my first X film there, RODAN, I was 15 and went with Bruce Allsop from Chaucer St. We were school mates at Mansfield Tech on Sutton Road. 1t was 1958
What a wonderful nostalgia picture of the Granada, (picture place) as they used to call them years ago. Many memories for the Mansfield folk, as with the Grand on Leeming Street and also the other Cinemas that served the town for many years, but sadly no more.
My own picture of the Granada was when the decision was made to redevelop the town, and as shown on a another page demolition took place.
