A photo from the Museum’s Chad negative collection which just says ‘Big T competition presentation. Can any one add further information or name the people?
The prize winner was my old boss for many many years at Central Notts Water Board (the water company), his name Morris Foster, originated from Kirkby in Ashfield I believe, a true gentleman.

The Big T was a automotive accessory shop that stood just to the right side of the old Oaktree Lane Tesco entrance. The whole area was redeveloped to make way for the new Tesco store on the same site.
I used to enjoy browsing around the little shop.It was not very big at all, but it did have just about everything a motorist needed
