My gran used to live on Little Barn Lane and my great gran on Maltby Road, but being born in 1955 this shot is too soon for me, however I can tell you the coach is a 1936 AEC Regal from a batch of 10 supplied to the MGO company. There must have been 3 or 4 of 'em used to carry this party as they only had 32 seats. I say 3 or 4 because it was normal practice to squeeze 1 and a half kids on each seat! After the 4 hour run to Skegness I bet they were glad to see the sea.

In the above post I mention that the bus was from a batch of 10 delivered to the Midland General Company in 1936. Not that this helps identify any of the passengers but, further research shows that at least 4 of them were requisitioned by the War Department in 1939 and 2 were 'lost' at Dunkirk in 1940 believed driven into the sea to stop the Germans capturing 'em!
