  • My Dad Ben Woodland trained the Mansfield Colliery Coronets Band and I remember him and my mum going to Texas with the band at about that time.

  • It is definitely Geoff Piggin and Lol Foster but I believe the visitors were from Texas and they came to Mansfield in around1980

  • I think that about that time some visitors from the United States came over from Wyoming, they probably presented the flag to the Welfare. The 2 gentlemen are - left Geoff Piggin, and right Lol Foster
