Mansfield ’s Most Famous Shop!

Margaret Elliot came up with the idea to open a haberdashery in Mansfield and Sally Twinkle first opened its doors in August 1967 at 4 & 6 Handley Arcade, Mansfield. The current owner of the store is David Marriott.

Sally Twinkle's was my favourite shop back in the late 60's & 70's, when I lived in Mansfield. I use to design and make my own clothes back then and I frequently visited the shop to buy haberdashery. I recently paid a visit to Mansfield and just had to visit the shop again. It's an 'Aladin's Cave' full of sparkle and good prices, that you don't see in the high street stores. I hope it continues for many years to come.
