  • I checked to see if the Sunday School building is still there, if this is indeed the Chapel standing on Woodhouse Road? Cannot find a Sunday School building there, wondered if it got demolished to allow a car park? Anyone any knowledge?

  • I am trying to trace past relatives of mine who were married in Leeming Street Primitive Methodists on 20th Dec. (year unknown but early 20th century). They were John and Gladys Thomas and they lived in Bottle Lane. John worked in Stokes Castings during the 2nd World War and having lost an arm in the first. Can anyone help?

  • My great-grandfather councillor Tom Hall was mayor of Mansfield at the time, and can be seen on Markham’s left wearing his chain of office.
