The prayers of thanksgiving:-

For those whose foresight and generosity gave to this County Harlow Wood Hospital.
For the wisdom and skill of the members of the medical profession who throughout the last 66 years have made the hospital a place of medical excellence.
For the devotion, skill and loving care of the nursing staff who have brought relief of suffering to so many, and made the hospital a place of hope.

For the dedication of all paramedical,
administrative, clerical, maintenance, portering and domestic staff.

For the work of the Linen Guild, the League of Friends and all voluntary staff

Intercession prayers included:-

For all members of staff as they go from Harlow Wood Hospital to other hospitals, that they may be strengthened and sustained in their task of alleviating suffering.

For the patients that they may know your presence and strength and for the relatives that they may be comforted.

May the rich legacy of love, care and healing fostered by and incorporated in Harlow Wood Hospital, be blessed and dedicated anew as the staff disperse to other hospitals and continue their work.

Let us offer ourselves afresh to our part in the work of healing and in the service of almighty God.
