I am told this photo was taken in the Mansfield area. A caption reads

'Millworkers Cottages, Station Road Alexander & Victoria Villas 1899. Can anyone confirm where this is, or have any further information to add to the photograph?

Portland Mill used to be where Whitely Electronics is based now on Victoria Street, so I think these mill cottages were probably around the area where Station Road, Belvedere Street and Victoria Street joined before the ring road took over.
