Bradder Street

My family history starts on Bradder Street whereby my grandfather, William Leedale may have helped Mr Bradder in the building of the houses so my sister Iris Leedale  has informed me. My father John Robert Leedale, a miner and my mother nee Elizabeth Elton resided on Bradder Street twice before moving to Bull Farm. I am writing a novel which will feature this wonderful community of top and bottom shops ,the railway and the engine sheds.
